The only problem is you must return yours before they send a new one, leaving you without the game.It's a year later, so you can probably live without it for a little while.

Guitar Hero 3 is a fantastic game and my family is loving it. It's great fun for all ages, from my 4 year old to me (including a 9 year old, 12, year old, 14 year old, and mmmphsomething wife). Recently, it was discovered that the wii version of guitar hero 3 did not include songs in stereo. Pretty amazing considering it's a game that is all about music. Fortunately, Activision, the company that distributes the game, has initiated plans to correct this error. Their response reads as follows:
UPDATE 1-21-08: Activision expects to start replacement in February. You can register online at http://www.activisiongameexchange.com/

We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game. We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. Should you have any further inquiries, please contact Activision customer support at "http://www.activision.com/support." Customers based in North America wanting to pre-register for a free replacement disc can call (866) 780-8286 from 8:00am-8:00pm EST, Monday-Friday, and we will notify you once the replacement discs are available. So call the number and get in line for the replacement disk. Be prepared to offer your name, address, phone number, and email address to be notified when they are ready to ship.
